Established in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome, Buddy Walks are held across the United States. Our Buddy Walk is our largest event and biggest fundraiser of the year, which has enjoyed throngs of volunteers and over 600 generous donors and walkers! The event brings us together for a common cause and is a fun day to be sure, but it's also a very important one. Many families attending the Buddy Walk are first timers who are still figuring out what the diagnosis means for their loved one. Seeing the hopeful possibilities and learning from other families is an uplifting experience that brings us back year after year. Join Us with your Registration, Build a Team or Make a Gift.
