Challenger Baseball
The local State College Challenger League is open to all kids who have special needs, not just those who have Down syndrome. Registration for the local State College Challenger League is FREE and is typically open from mid-January through March. More information will be posted here when registration opens for 2019.
Each participant receives a team t-shirt and hat. Bats and helmets are provided for use during the games. We have a few extra gloves, though most families opt to purchase their own gloves. Scholarship funds are available through the CRDSS to cover this expense.
The State College Challenger League does not currently have a Senior Challenger Division, but plans are in place to create one for the 2016 season, which would allow for ages 19+ to participate.
