Buddy Walk - our annual flagship event!SAVE THE DATE FOR 2022!!
This year's Buddy Walk will be held on Saturday, October 8th. Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, State College PA 16801 The Buddy Walk is our largest fundraiser of the year. It is a great day of fun, food, games, celebration, signing and more! Teams raise money and hundreds join in the fun. The funds raised provide programming & support for individuals with Down syndrome and their families throughout our central Pennsylvania region. |

YES21!YES21! is a program for our young adults. Any individual in our CRDSS family who is age 18 and older is welcome to be a part. YES21! is about having fun and socializing. Our young adults have enjoyed everything from game nights to Halloween Parties and Valentine Dinners. We’ve gone to the movies, held barbecues, and even went horseback riding! The chaperoned events are structured to create lots of fun and wonderful opportunities for engagement. The full name is ‘Young Elite Society’ and the ‘21’ represents both the transition into adulthood and the Down syndrome chromosome. But we like calling ourselves YES21! Click here to learn more!

3-21 Annual CelebrationsCRDSS is pleased to celebrate National Down Syndrome Day, declared by the United Nations in 2011. Held annually on March 21st (3/21), the date represents the triplicate copy of the 21st chromosome, which all people who have Down syndrome have. In the past, CRDSS has held a free dance event for our community, open to all ages. In 2021 & 22 the event was held virtually for an abundance of heath caution.

Holiday Party for everyone!In the winter, the CRDSS families love to come together & celebrate the holiday season with food, music, craft making and more! Whether you are from Central Pennsylvania or surrounding areas, we’d love to celebrate with you! The pandemic forced us to hold virtual events for the past few years but we have high hopes and plans in the works for 2022!
