Make a Donation
The Centre Region Down Syndrome Society is a 501(C)3 working on behalf of people who have Down syndrome and their families. Donations are used to:
- Send families to conferences to learn more about current issues in the Down syndrome community
- Send self-advocates to Washington D.C. to push for legislation that benefits people with special needs
- Pay for social events, like dances, parties and picnics for our adults and children who have Down syndrome
- Fund activities that enrich the lives of people who have Down syndrome, like horseback riding and swimming lessons
- Create and distribute of educational materials about Down syndrome to doctors and service providers
- Outreach and support to new families struggling to understand their child’s diagnosis
