INDEPENDENT LIVING
A Place of His Own is a blog written by member mom Suzanne Weinstein in which she explores the challenges she and her adult son with Down syndrome faced in their journey to set up Dave in his own apartment. Suzanne writes with honesty and great clarity of some of the challenges they have faced (and continue to face). We suggest you read the introductory blog titled "Parents Breaking Barriers," then read the first four numbered blogs in order before reading the rest in any order you choose. Don't forget to subscribe so you can be notified when Suzanne adds a new blog!
