John's stepson has benefitted greatly from participation in the For Good Troupe and other activities. Briefly the President of the CRDSS Board in the summer of 2024, John recently accepted a position at Elon University in North Carolina. He remains committed to sharing his knowledge with the CRDSS Board of Directors. While at Penn State, John worked with students working towards careers in the health professions and serve on the National Committee on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for the National Association for Advising in the Health Professions (NAAHP). He previously helped coordinate the One Young World conference hosted by Pittsburgh in 2012 and served on the Board for the New Pittsburgh Collaborative. John uses his experience in community outreach and development to increase the scope of who CRDSS serves across our region, helping more families feel a sense of belonging in this incredible community.
