Medora joined the board in August 2023

Center Region Down Syndrome Society is one of the best communities out there and I am honored and excited to contribute to the board, and to learn from everyone. At the Center for the Performing Arts, where I have worked since 2007, we create conditions for everyday awe. I identify and develop new ways to bring communities together to significantly change the quality of performing arts experiences. Performance can be used to explore almost anything and I have co-created numerous programs and curricula for cultivating voice and agency. I have worked in nonprofit arts organizations my entire career, and am a practicing visual artist. My superpower is advocacy. Something I am most proud of is my ongoing commitment to working through the arts for a more just, equitable, and inclusive society.
